9 Months in Accenture, Joined as a fresher, Stream Trained in MERN, Few people have been taken in some projects (not a development role),
Should I go ahead with taking support role ( mails saying google project, business operations, etc)
Or should I wait more for getting project calls?
Even in actual MERN project.. it is same.. freshers are given 0 to no work and are asked to attend some bullshit trainings. Yup by bullshit I mean css and basics of JS.
Since you have the super power of being on bench. Utilise the time perfectly.
Learn stuff. There is a lot to learn.
- Master JS and React. (Yes mastery) 2)learn Tailwind and MUI(1 hr max)
- Learn typescript.
- SQL
- Learn how to deploy front ends
- Learn about Mono repos.
- learn about serverless environments.
- Docker
- Next.js.
- CSR SSR and SSG.
- Websockets, Redis, Pub-sub , Queues.
Since you already know CRUD in mongo which 1836726372627262626263526 people know. Build complex things to stand out in percentages. Everyone clones a ecommerce website. Half of them only clone the front end. You clone the backend too. Half of them don't provide authentication. You do it. Half of them don't put payment gateway. You do it. Be the one who does the same but perfectly.
After all this you can start System Design... (Actually if you have time..you can start in parallel)
