Trending @Accenture; 1 million Recognition Points Fraud in Accenture [EMEA Market]
Few Days back one senior manager from our project distributed recognition points to ASE and SE people total 150 peopleI guess (or more). He nearly distributed 10k-15k point to each members which means 40k to 65k Indian rupees. He asked us to buy Amazon voucher and send him back the Coupon code. I don't know is this any kind of fraud or what? Is there any HR in this platform please investigate this.
It's unethical, the points might have been rewarded to employees for their performance, and I believe the amount received as rewards would be taxable for employees, if SM is asking for vouchers then he is doing the wrong thing. And there could not be the written proof of this, else SM will come under scrutiny.
There are few rules to reward points or else earlier people were playing to and fro with the points which are allocated to be rewarded for good performance.
Highly unlikely, an sm doing such a thing no way it's possible.
So you are saying this is not a scam? According to me they should have distributed these points to project managers and then he should have used this points to recognize his team mates. I think this is the correct way
I am saying that one doesn't get so many recognition points to be distributed to begin with, then no sm will do such cheap things to ask back for thr coupon code.
Take ss & send to ASOC, business ethics
If manager is asking to give back the coupon code it's fishy
