Travel to Abu Dhabi

Hi, I really always wanted to travel to the Middle East but my passport has only my given name. My surname on passport/ all national documents is blank. However I heard that if you have your father's name on any page of passport you can travel and there will be no issues. Please tell, my friends are planning to travel in the coming month
