Trapped in a Toxic Workplace: Unfair Blame and Emotional Drain
I have been working on a project for three months, and every day feels like a nightmare. After every call, I end up crying because of the toxic and biased environment. My manager and a senior consultant target certain team members, and I’m one of them. The senior consultant tried to blame me publicly, but I had proof that he assigned me the task. Instead of apologizing, he told me to “take it as learning.”
My manager falsely accused me of taking extra leaves, and even after showing proof, he claimed I wasn’t on the call log. No matter how hard I work, they always find a way to put me down. This constant bias and manipulation are draining me mentally. I feel unheard and stuck in a toxic environment. I just want a fair workplace where I don’t have to suffer like this every day.

Happening with me too. After assiging a task i am not able to take it forward. Reached out multiple times but all i got was no response. In the end they will blame me for not completing it.
During sleep, on weekends everytime i am feeling anxious.

Same! My anxiety has gone up and it is affecting my personal life as well..

What is your tech stack?

It's not you, it's them.

That sounds like an incredibly tough and toxic work environment. You deserve to work in a place where you are respected and valued.
I think you should
- Document Everything
- Look for an Exit Plan
- Seek Internal Help (If Worth It)
- Prioritize Your Mental Health its more important than anything else
- Exit Gracefully but Firmly
Leaving a toxic workplace is tough, but prioritizing your well-being is more important. Better opportunities are out there, and you will find a workplace that values and respects you. Stay strong!
