Transitioning to SDE | changing careers
I am a technical support engineer with less than two years of experience in the industry. I am working in tier 2 support where it's not much of telecommunication but is fairly technical, tool based though and I feel the urge to switch to an SDE role as i feel my knowledge base is getting restricted to a mere tool than the technology around. How should I approach the companies and switch the domains?
Build projects and showcase your Talent. If you like working in web, launch websites. If you like app development, build and put it in play store. Build a portfolio around what you are interested in and apply to those roles.
I appreciate your insights however I wanna go into the core technologies and not just web or app development. I'm not sure if I am making sense.
