Since, you're an SSE right now, trying to complete one or two certifications on lex, related to cyber security (as all hiring managers look for lex courses on your LnC / Compass profile). Look for IJPs internally, no matter if they are promotional or not (means even if they are JL3A or JL4B) and note down the units and their hiring manager. Browse through their organisation levels (in infy teams) and try connecting with other SSE or TAs or TLs and ask them about the interview experiences for cyber security roles in their team ( it helps a lot ). After getting good knowledge on it, then cold ping the hiring manager, asking them to take a chance on you, telling them that you worked on xyz tech-stack and now, u want to switch to cyber security. Mostly they get u a chance to have an interview. Clear it and switch the team. Have some experience in that team, and get a good insight of current and previous projects in next 3-4 months... Start preparing for switching outside the company. I am expecting all this to be done in 6-7 months.
