Transition from support role to dev roles.

I've been with Infosys for over two years and four months now. I am in a technical support role, now it's quite frustrating as I don't feel any growth here. I want to do transition from support to development role asap and also want to switch company. Can anyone help me with below skill sets:

Skills: SQL, APIs, Basic JAVA, OOPS concept, HTML/CSS, MS Office 365 products.

Please guide me as I want to switch asap. Thank you for your time.

First thing first your hands on and fundamentals should be good to pick up task soon as u join ur first dev role.My first job was support role where I started learning and practising frontend. Then switched here presently into development role.It will take some time but be consistent and you will get there.

Learn Version control like git and all important commands, GitHub, remote repository etc basically things you will have to do when working in a team of developers.

Focus on mastering Java and SQL. Explore full-stack development courses. Network internally and externally. Check internal job postings. Be patient; transitions take time. Consider roles matching your skills.
