Guys, Anybody has received any benifits after being transferred from prime to NV locations?
Received this month, I transferred in July 19th
What are the benefits you got?
Infact, I would like to bring more attention to this shift from Prime Location to New Vista (NV) location.
The general benefit for HCL to operate from NV is low cost to company. What it means is operating cost in these companies are pretty low. Cab services, real estate, charges per desk is comparatively low.
If employees native is nearer it’s better to take this.
The other side of the story is teams which are setup in these NV is not a niche skills. It’s predominantly operations and support. As they showcase this for customers and also bill customers low for roles executed from NV locations. By all these I would like to say, you will not have better projects and Ofcourse CTC will be low compared to same role played in prime location.
They are giving these baits of relocation charges and some initial benefits for employees who transfers.
Job market in these cities are very slow or almost none.
Accept these transfers only of the NV location is nearer to your native.
