Transfer to Noida TCS

I asked for transfer to my nearby hometown as my wife is pregnant but they are delaying in process? Is there any chance of getting transfer based on it what else should i fo to make it quicker?

But if he is allocated into project and if the manager is supportive in this case,would surely get transfer to the location of his choice.
