Transfer Policy in TCS without getting released from the current project.
I have been in TCS Kolkata for almost 5 years. I have been diagnosed with a health condition for which I need regular checkups and supervised medications. How can I get transferred to TCS Bhubaneswar without getting released from my project.
Note: My current project doesn't have any ODC setup in TCS Bhubaneswar.
Please advise.

You need to get a release from the current project and need to find the one which has ODC in that location to get your transfer approved as it forms a main perquisite to get the same...
All you need to do is get your manager onboard with transfer plan and talk to RMG in Bhubaneswar. I'm going through something similar, a chronic condition that requires regular checkup and medications. I talked to manager and then RMG, his only condition was that I keep working in my current project for atleast a year after getting transferred. Then I raised a self-initiated travel request in GESS and after a week of approvals and clearances my transfer was finalized.
No Manager & HR follow policy in TCS. It depends on their MOOD.
