I have,
Was hired for another DC during covid by accepting all the terms of relocation to that DC and never visited to that DC even after back to normal days.
Giving some personal reasons and explaining to my manager that client ODC all the facilities are available in nearby infy DC, manager allowed to work via near by DC, which later resulted to temporary transfer which renews every year including one more employee within same project from other DC. And now our transfer got permanent.

Conclusion, its totally depends on manager, personal reasons you explain and how you convince him/her.
