22moTransfer bike via train
I've to transfer a bike from my hometown to Bangalore. Ive heard that trains are not very safe for this. They don't handle the items with care and chances of damage are very high. Is it true ? I see 4 categories for this on the railway website: rajdhani , premier, standard, luggage. If I choose the most costly one will that make any difference ???

Don’t send, the locals at SMVT/SMVB bangalore are a bunch of A holes and will damage your bike. The only way to get it safely delivered is by reqching before the train arrives and bribe 500-1000 to the local guys !!!

I think the mode & safety of the vehicle is the same, but time may differ. But there is no change in safety.
