Toxic work environment
Does anyone else feel workplaces are becoming more and more toxic by each passing day? I feel software engineers are not valued as much as they used to be once upon a time.

Supply demand economics. There’s an abundance of supply and a shortage of demand. So no merit in valuing software engineers. So attitude of management changes from “We are overloaded and understaffed.” to “There are many in line for your job so either keep your head down and do as you’re told or GTFO.”
