Assuming that you have started very recently, give it some time…not everyone is born leaders, would recommend listening and ordering your subordinates! It’s a long game chill out and enjoy the process
Team lead doesn't even think before saying fresher's code rubbish in front of all other freshers. That fresher guy was from some other domain and didn't even know the concepts that were needed and that team lead didn't even give him time to read. In day 2 he started to pressurize him to write code and when fresher guy wrote atleast something, that team lead on call started saying abusive things and laughing. Team lead doesn't even care about freshers development he only cares about his stupid project and do not care for atleast giving some mentor already experienced in particular tech stack of the project🙃
Few things are part of our job…can’t stop all the things while managing…wait for right moment..and you are doing good mate! Just keep onto it
Make sure of having a mail communication, even if any offline discussions have happened, drop an email "as discussed, .... " and you will have a point of reference for any future discussions.
