Toxic Project Manager in Wipro

Hi all,

Joined as a B3 (Senior Consultant) with a 6 year experience in SAP FSM in October 2025.

It went fine initially (had been solving some regular and critical problems off) but slowly realized my responses or updates were being ignored.

I also have a colleague who is always at the forefront and helps solve most of the problems (regular or critical) even though some of them are actually user issues, SAP standard ones, code bugs etc.

However he is always in the limelight and gets appreciated and in one of the recent meetings along with him, my manager criticized I needed to solve problems (as in his opinion, I haven't fixed anything so far).

I later discussed with him offline and asked if he plans to kick me out of the project anytime soon to which he replied he just wants me to improve.

However, I feel there is a potential politics in the background and that I may face the music soon (Wipro's bench is of max 45 days and people rarely get any projects in that duration).

Kindly guide further if I should resign and keep searching for other job offers.
