Trending @Accenture; “Toxic project environment for juniors – how do you handle this?”
I’m a junior developer working on a project where work-life balance is almost non-existent. Late-night work is normal, expectations are very high, and juniors are expected to deliver without proper mentoring or KT.
There is very little guidance from seniors, but mistakes are pointed out quickly. This is causing a lot of stress and self-doubt.
I want to understand:
- Is this common in service companies?
- How do juniors survive in such environments?
- When is it reasonable to consider an internal project change or switch?
Looking for genuine advice from people who’ve been through this.
BTW I joined last year aug

I've been in my current project for 10 months. Everything is fine with my people lead and senior manager. I'm able to complete my tasks on time and my people lead is really very kind and helps a lot. But the problem is with a senior analyst. She always pings me personally and assigns me her work and goes offline. My PL is not aware that she is assigning her tasks to me.

Yes , credits will be for them
