Hi Everyone
I have been with Capgemini for around 1.9 years joined as a fresher and around 1 year in a project.
I am now so frustrated with this project, never seen such hard times in my life. The follow ups and chases management do is unbearable as a developer they think we are super humans.
I have to work around 12-13 hrs on a daily basis now and some days more than that. Their deadlines are so tight and the pressure they make has made me in depression for almost 2-3 months.
Even seniors are not helpful, I feel left out and they give lectures on my attitude for 1 hrs. They have been in this project for 3-4 yrs.
Please help what to do with such a toxic work environment. I don't even have time to study to switch company. I feel if I ask for a release they will not release. Even I have got a promotion, I am not happy here anymore
Never thought in my life I would have to face this much pressure in life that I would not even get time for lunch. At last I want to know if it is common for everyone working here ?
It’s really not worth investing your time and energy in a toxic environment. I’d suggest discussing the situation with your people manager or the RMG team to explore possible solutions or a release.
If the conflicts can be resolved through open communication, that’s always the best first step. Otherwise, start preparing for interviews and plan your next move.
By the way, may I know which project you’re currently working on where you’ve experienced this environment?
One guy did the same thing and mailed for release they put him in PIP
