Trending @Accenture; Toxic project

Hey everyone, I got a better opportunity in another organisation so I have asked for an early exit but my HR says that there is no such policy in Accenture. And my managers are also blackmailing me that they will initiate pip as that's the only option left. I regret joining Accenture, my teammates are so toxic. I'm depressed mentally because of this. But I have seen my colleagues taking an early exit. Any suggestions on this?

I used to think only my project is toxic, seems like most of the projects in here are toxic 🤕

Yes that's correct. And unfortunately we are facing this and none of them even take any action on it even after reaching out to the concerned person.

True! Now I don't even to know whom to reach out. Feels like I'm been stuck here.

Same with me. I resigned in the Probation period. They are still forcing a 90 day notice period on me. I have the mail stating my notice should be of 30 days. But they are just not commenting on it. Not even listening to me.

Oh so toxic people

Yes, I am just losing interest in doing any work for them now.
I just don't know what I should do now

I think you may have the option to buy back(like paying the notice period's pay priorly).

And exit after that

Yes I even asked for that and I was ready to pay. But they still mailed me stating that they will initiate pip, there is no early exit policy in Accenture.

Get PIP. you get paid for 90 days if you resign voluntarily, and the release is also immediate, within 3-4 days that it takes to process it. Enjoy the money, and the new job.

I'm already in my notice period. Yet I asked them for the buyout option for which they are not agreeing and stating that it's not there in Accenture policy

Hahaha classic. We can provide the last working day while approving or processing the exit on Accenture support ticket. Ask them to do that. Plus, if there’s no dependency at your end, they can surely do that. Unless the HR and the project lead feel so.

usually your people lead/ project manager can help with reducing your notice period. i’ve seen so many people being released after a month and not completing the 90 day notice period. include HR in the email as well

I did everything but nothing is working. HR herself is stating that there is no such policy in Accenture. And the managers are like they will initiate pip that's the only option left

PIP is their way to ensuring u don’t sue them and they have their backs covered. i was on pip and they sent me an email stating that if they feel like im not doing the assignments given to me properly, they’ll kick me out stating that they gave me another chance but i was not a right fit for the company. easy exit honestly if you’re keen on leaving. it’s a 6 week program where your people lead connects with you weekly to check your progress. my tasks were simple. if you want to quit, then don’t bother working so hard during ur PIP, they’ll release you

You resign and search

I have already resigned and have other opportunity. But they're not relieving me, all they're doing is to blackmail and harass without any cause.

I don't think they can initiate pip in notice period. That's not allowed also that can not affect you. But yes early release is not possible in accenture. You will have to talk to the company which you are joining

Hi, i am in the exact same situation which is causing a lot of mental stress.

How did you manage? Did you get early release
