Toxic Manager in Notice period
Hi folks our team got a new manager/ lead and he has a bit of a narcissistic personality. We also had new additions to the team who already worked with him in the past. He plays favourites with teammates and never really cares even if they are working or not but micromanages others in the team. He literally try to push work from his favourites to other team members including me. Sets unrealistic timelines and expects us to complete others work as well. Now that I have resigned he started treating me badly. I'm saying this because other team members can also see the change. I have been quiet for a long time but he started taking that as helplessness and started to talk rudely with me, shout at me or taunt me. Literally nitpicking on everything I do and talk. Now he is trying to insult me in front of everyone whenever he finds a chance. How to deal with this 😠My entire day is getting spoiled because of him.
Write a one to one email in a friendly tone stating you are not happy with the recent interactions. If things don't improve you'll have to report it to HR.
You are in your final days, in few days all this won't matter so don't pay a lot of attention to all this and spoil your day.
Also use paragraphs while writing long texts. 😊
Managers are b#####ds here..the worst across any corporate in the world. MOST OF THEM OLD TIMERS WITH NO TECHNICAL SKILLS OR IT KNOWLEDGE.
Give back the same medicine
If possible talk to his manager about this behavior.
Dont tolerate, else regret later
Hire some paid-for goondas and have him beaten up on the streets outside. Make sure to not leave any evidence or have it traced back to you 😀
