Hi, Recently one of my friends joined the project.We all are freshers including everyone.After entering into the project she has been experiencing a toxic behaviour from her colleagues.All of her team-mates are working from another location.And all are seniors.Just before a day I was sitting next to her.After the code review session with client I encountered that her female colleague who is senior than her started scolding and shouting on her for the errors in the code.She even said that tumko agar meri complaint karni hai you are free to do so.This is what new college fresher deserve to experience this behaviour with seniors.Is this what she really deserve. She is working so hardworking lady.Literally she is working 10+ hours on the project everyday and even works on weekends as well.What I observed is that female senior is rudely behaving with her.This ususal incident is happening multiple times with her affecting her mental health.Does anyone know what should be done in this situation?

Tell HR and also suggest her to ask HR to put her in another project
Ask her to politely confront her senior and even her project manager .. we can always raise voices in such cases .. shouting and scolding is not a professional behaviour … Incase of issues there is a particular way to communicate it and make freshers understand the issue
Ask her to escalate this with her EM(manger)
