Not approving leaves and if approving asking to work on weekends to compensate how can we deal with situation like this. Even when taking sick leave asking to work on weekends. They provide compoffs for weekend work but when we go and ask for those compoffs I have to work on weekends cause I have taken compoffs….

That's a tough spot. Try having a candid chat with your manager about work-life balance, and if that doesn't help, consider escalating it to HR.

If your reporting manager is asking you to work on weekends in lieu of a leave approved,ask him to document it on e-mail with reason . I am damn sure he/she will never do it because if you are taking leave then he/she can't force you to work on your week offs. He/she can request you only based on project requirements and for that as well you would be paid overtime. If he/she still forces you,report the incident to HR team. You and your reporting manager are working together for a project,you are not working for him personally.

If you have completed 18 months in a project. Ask for moment.

This is a nightmare, you should definitely report this issue.
