Trending @Accenture; Totally Confused!
I joined Accenture 3.5 years ago but never got a good project and a good amount of time was spent on the bench. Every time I got different domains and technology to work on by cross training. Moreover I'm not even interested in these things, I want to pursue an MBA and hence I have been preparing for CAT and OMETs. I have been on the bench for the last couple of months so I was having a good time studying and preparing but yesterday they locked me in for a support project. I have my CAT exam on 30th November and OMETs across December and January. Now I have a fear of losing momentum and lack of time for mocks etc. What should I do now? I am thinking of resigning but then won't be getting the survival amount whatever I get now. Please suggest some ideas to tackle this situation. Thanks in advance!

Hi @UnfitCousin5 What is the current state of the bench? Do they let us sit on the bench for three months or do they let us start right away?
I have provided a medical justification for being removed from the project. Therefore, they have set my role off for the 16th November.

30th November is very close, u should focus more on preparation
Take at least 1-2 days leave in all the upcoming weeks (now you get weekends + extra weekdays for 100% preparation )
On non leave/working day try to pull put some preparation hour in morning-afternoon-night
Give less time to project (but whenever in meeting try to make notes and get idea of project ) - for next 2-3 week don’t think of your image, speak up of there is extra work or simply ignore (i prefer ignoring, speaking up will drain energy and time)
Also stay in attitude ki ab chod ke jaana h, ye log ko jo karna h karle, mein to cat k tyari karunga
Also, after 30 November- be serious to project and catch up (agar cat nahi nikla to idhar hi rehne k)
All the best!

Any suggestions, insights from people of HR or others who can? Please!
