Total Rubish from TCS !!!

I resigned last week from TCS. Initially they gave 90 days NP since I was in allocation. But suddenly today they changed my LWD from 26-DEC-25 to 13-OCT-25. When I asked for a 3 month NP payout in advance, they refused. Can I move this legally?

You can't . If there is a dependency on you only they will keep else they can ask you to move out next day

But they can't incorporate new rules accordingly right Accordingly to the rule in Mncs when an employee put the paper he should serve 90 days notice period and if they don't want to keep him means they should pay him right atleast totally it's against policy Overnight they can't make rules..

Please read policies before posting out of panic and resigning in peer pressure without understanding your current position and net comparison results in all these conundrums.

If you resign then -

Read separation policies. They can give you pink slip even if you are not resigning. They can initiate separation in next 30 seconds of receiving your resignation email.

Yes what they cannot do is make your separation more than 90 business days if there is no registered leave or unauthorised absence.

So you can move legally when discussing with lawyers on grapevine or telegram but not in actual real world.

Sleep well /prepare well / keep applying

All the best

It’s how the things were, which are being enforced now
They are setting the already existing predicaments now, no bars hold

And I am a tech lead / speed manager for 22+ resources in my team one junior dev resigned he got put in release list in 20 min from account. No negotiations not for C1 resource also.
And mind you we are rejecting business we are so overloaded with work.

So policies are kicking in now with no exceptions.

You can and you should absolutely launch case against this. If this is the actual case. Please go ahead and discuss with lawyer. No problem in releasing early but they have to pay 90 days wage. Don’t get demotivated by those comments below me or above me. 90% of ppl dont even know their own rights in corporate , thats the reason many of us getting exploited by corporate.

JUST GET A LAWYER.

No ,They are not bound to pay 90 days wage. After resign they can release you whenever they want but not exceed by NP.If they fire in that case they are Bound to pay 90 days.Resignation initiated by you not by them. You can verify this by any LAWYER.

You can move legally anytime you want, even if you have signed a bond with anyone. You only need guts as justice is not easy in a corrupt environment. Remember you are moving the court for justice, you are not bound by legal documents or rules. If rules are not correct they can be appealed to change.
