Topmate and unstop mentors

I'm considering paying some people on Unstop/Topmate to schedule a 1-hour call. I'm looking for guidance on investment banking and have many questions and uncertainties. I have gathered some materials, but I lack guidance on the next steps. I also don't have any alumni in my Engineering college who can provide advice. Do you think it's worth a try?

If not what else could I try.
