Today's notice period irony
Most companies have set notice period as 90 days. Same companies are looking for candidates to join in immediately or less than 15 days.
An employee who is jobless or an employee who already has offers in hand and serving notice period can ONLY fit HERE....
So, genuine employees who are already working without any career break and who are capable enough to crack interviews not getting enough opportunities due to this notice period TRAP.
And as companies are setting their NP higher, knows that same scenario exists in market as well , still expecting people to join in 15 days?? Where the hack is ethics in this?
True, tcs is expecting it's employees to be ethically correct and follow tcoc. But as an organization,management comes up with weird process for employees.NP trap is called tcs double standard of not allowing employees to go with better opportunity and paying them peanuts
