To Data engineers here

Quick nd short background of me -- I've 1 year exp. in Cloud Networking (support role), working with Azure, F5, Palo Alto, Panorama, Aviatrix, Grafana, currently exploring DevOps automation too.

The thing is Networking wasn’t my planned domain, I had my training in this so automatically got into Networking project as well, but, now I’m considering a shift to Data Engineering. No doubt my current project is good, but I really feel stuck.

Pls help me clear

• Is Data Engineering still a strong career choice?

• Current and future demand (next 15–20 years)?

• Is this a good career switch for me?

I'm aware all of these things would be available online but I wanted real interaction so thankss in advance. 🙂‍↕️

Any guidance or suggestions would really help.
