We used to feed our Golden Retriever Royal Canin for the first two years, but one day he developed diarrhea.
The vet advised us to stop giving him packaged food and instead recommended switching to natural, homemade meals like dahi chawal, with small portions of eggs or meat as toppings.
He also suggested home-cooked chicken soup or plain boiled chicken as healthier alternatives and even suggested to give veggies like cucumber, bell pepper, carrot and in fruits he eats an apple, Peaches and Mango occasionally.
By doing all this my pet is healthy even at the age of 8. Touchwood.
So I would like to suggest you before feeding anything to your pet, it's better to consult a vet as they can suggest you what to feed to your pets .
