Tips to apply abroad

Hi guys, I have recently started applying for jobs abroad. Especially in Europe in UK. I guess US would be very unlikely to get a visa for. However, can anyone share some tips as to what works well while applying for foreign countries? So far I haven’t gotten any call. Thought it’s just been 1 week that i have started applying.
