Tips on Salary Negotiation..
So basically the title. I've been in my company for last 1.5 years joined as a Fresher, Work is Fine not too much pressure but the team culture is a bit toxic. So I'm Looking for an Opportunity Outside, wanted to know how to Negotiate for a better salary. Any tips or tricks that can be used are welcomed, also what situations have you faced where only after joining did you realised that you fell for a bluff during your Negotiation, How to Sell myself more efficiently and call the bluff of the hiring partner if at all there is one.
Never say your salary expectations on the first call. Always wait after all rounds are over.
Check what is the max they give and ask accordingly.
Have multiple offers and inform them of the packages you have declined before if you think they are offering way below the actual market price.
Do not stop applying and interviewing. The more offers you have; the more leverage you gain.
