How to negotiate remote work in new job offer?
Got an offer from a good company but they want 100% onsite work. How to negotiate for at least partial remote? Really want this job but also value flexibility.
I have been presented with a job offer from a remote startup. I would like to explore the possibility of increasing the compensation, but I am unsure how to approach the negotiation process. As a beginner with no prior experience in negotiations, any guidance or assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help.

Because if your target is higher than industry standard your points really need to be around why you need a higher compensation be it family situation or personal goals for saving etc, people are really considerate when you have a good reason. And if your offered value is less than industry standard , make sure you fight for the buck you deserve. It’s a very awkward process for sure but I would say talking to hiring manager is easier than convincing an HR.
