TCS has too many useless managers already. It's ok to lay off a few people.
True sadly those useless arent the only ones being targeted. {In reality they arent being targeted at all}
These useless managers are always safe due to their good terms with HR. Instead, if the HR asks to reduce workforce from project, they even give names of the associates who have very strong dependency on the work, in order save their jobs. Because, they know, that they will never get jobs outside TCS. And thus, they still hold the legacy of enjoying without work and harassing junior associates. Be it the layoffs in 2014 or 2025, the sad part is, that these people are still there in the organisation.
Tcs is least bothered about ppl leaving.. for every good associate leaving tcs there are 10 equally good associates ready to join tcs with lesser salary demands. Demand and supply problem in IT industry in india
I feel if it does not happen now then after few years but going to happen to everyone, better to think of alternatives and invest the money for future

Dear - who told it’s not recorded here. Our all phones have IP and through which we all will be got if someone is posting which is not true. So please always be mindful on what you wanted to posted.
Nothing will gonna happens... There were many posts and also union also intervened this matter ..still force resignation and termination happens... Still today 70 people got force resigned .. better resign this dumb organization .... I think govt also supporting TCS so if we go for a case there is no impact .
So far as investors want their money to grow, which will always be the case, these kind of decisions will be made, if not this CEO, then it will be somebody else, who will make the same decision of cutting costs.
We have to accept the change and adopt. If we are not value for money, we will be asked to leave, no matter who you work for, except govt job.
We are in a country where money talks more than man, unlike other countries where the laws are so strong in protecting the employees in such situations. No matter how strong we stand and fight back nobody gives a F**K! It's the hard reality, and we have to accept it.
Just for 1 day i.e. for 24 hours people don't work at TCS, you know what it will create around the world. Once this is done in any company, this will be replicated in other companies as well. Then these companies will stop the exploitation
This company will be grounded. And reminded that employee are the main elements in this org and you have treat them in a good way.
Sadly it won't happen.
