Time for an Insurance !!

Hello I'm 27M, bachelor, but might get married in a year.

I'm beginner and looking to have an insurance as I think it's high time now.

FYI, I didn't took it yet as it's had some corporate insurance and my parents has insurance from central government, but still I want to take for them in case of emergency.

There are plenty of insurance policy and plans out there, each having it's own pros and cons.

How you've choose one?
