Vehicle Actuated Control. I saw VAC signals in many parts of Bangalore city, but was unaware of what exactly that means.
These signals have 3 modes- 1/ Manual mode- VIP/ Ambulance traffic 2/ Auto mode with camera- Camera detects the volume of traffic and decides on basis of that 3/ Sync mode- various signals work simultaneously to reduce the overall traffic in area
Yes I get it that these cameras don't have any timers but won't it be nice to have VAC cameras with timers?
For example the signal will turn green suddenly from red.
Have anyone noticed frequent glitches where the red signal goes to orange and comes back to red again? Noticing it since a week near richmond circle, near townhall signal and even near domlur. Am I hallucinating or something?
Saare bangaloreans fog light on karke chalte hai . They don't know when to use it. Difficult to drive vehicle with this.
