Tier 3 3rd year student

I was aiming to be placed in FAANG or similar corporations, but seems to me hiring has really slowed down, it's becoming extremely compatetive for the limited jobs at these good companies, is that true?

I think my only ticket would be to grind CP, have excellent ratings and still have a very difficult interview if I get one. I don't want to go to service based companies.

I have done internships at Unacademy and one German startup.

What's the ideal strategy?
