[Thread] When did you experience your first failure?
Stages of Life:
- You’re at School and Grades are everything.
- You get to college and your GPA is everything.
- You get to your first job and your pay is everything.
- You get to the end of the year and Performance Review is everything.
So, essentially at every moment in your life, you’re judged by a number.
My heart goes out to all those who failed at being better at this. But, I really cry for my brethren who succeeded at this hustle, for the person you’ve become.
Drop your experiences down below. I’m just in a very mellow mood after work, contemplating about life’s weird quirks.

I'm surprised you haven't started rating your existential crises on a scale of 1 to 10!

On a scale of 1 to 10, I am at a strong 10. Thank you for reminding me. :)

I'm a hard believer in Murphy's law. Shit will always go down. You just get used to taking those punches after time.
It is what it is.

Somewhere in 10th class I lost that need to be first, Yet i still got in top3 nit circuit branch on the basis of my love for maths and physics alone. Currently in 4 th year, failed 3 subjects A wayward college life lived..

I failed in my 12 standard, And I'm very glad that happened, lost 1 year, but many awesome people whom I would have not met otherwise.
Couldn't made it to IITs, yet making a decent salary that's too at the beginning of my career.
There's lots of failer that are yet to be experienced, But one thing I know that it one way or another it will also bring new opportunities and experience.
Now I have faith in destiny, The path is more clearer, Filled with new energy ready to tackle new things with a smile.

Excelled we'll through out school, college and grad and secured a job of interest post studies though the role was offering a low pay, but then corona happened and had joined an org where I'm currently in and everything is downhill from then I'm nothing but a failure now
We're also just a number to these founders/companies who want to change the world, building companies that replace the middlemen by becoming the middlemen.
A six digit employee code, a single cell in an excel sheet.

My parents tried to abort me because I was an accident. They couldn't for a few medical reasons. My first failure. My life has been a series of failures after that.
