Thoughts on this?

I’m currently working with a client who tends to be very harsh with their words and often turns situations negative. I’m finding it increasingly difficult to work without being affected by their behavior. It’s gotten to the point where it’s impacting my ability to focus and prepare for opportunities with other companies. How do you manage situations like thi

In same kinda project, joined big four some 6-7 months back...at first it used to bother me alortt even now it does, but just take God's name and continue working. And with time I have developed an attitude of "Ma c*daney jae bc." I mean, i know it sounds rough but you gotta have such attitude with such clients. And obviously good friends help as well! And always do share what's on your mind with your family!

I had a similar situation, what worked for me was setting clear boundaries in terms of work. The best thing was that after a while I accepted that this is going to be a ride to hell everyday, which actually started giving me a good feeling when I'd shut my screen at the EOD almost everyday and hence I had the motivation to switch almost everyday.

I have a similar colleague who acts as if he is the boss. Does major escalations where none exist. It affected a lot earlier. Then a voice said " Maraale Bencho". I asked "Kaun". The voice said " Stress in chutiyon ke liye lega toh tu nahi toh woh. Toh sochle kya karna hai." So, I chose him and said,"Tu Maraale Bencho, Behen ka d*#na". Slept peacefully after that. So choose yourself and your own peace.

I have the same client you develop 10 things they won't appreciate 8 things you did within timeline but will point out every single point in the two things you did wrong even if you go out of way to complete the work. That's worst the voice itself is irritating as hell.
