Trending @Infosys; Thoughts on my decision

This is what happened to me, i already posted in one of the discussions.

I had planned to raise the separation in 2022, but they Raised H1B and luckily I managed to get it.

But it didn't end there. The whole process took a year and I finally received my visa in 2023, but I haven't been able to travel yet due to the recession and budget constraints over there. Every time I asked about it, they kept telling me to wait.

Things got even worse for me when I received an outstanding rating in my last appraisal, but they only gave me a single digit percentile. Financially, my situation was deteriorating day by day. I had no other options but to ask for an immediate onsite opportunity or to normalize my salary (considering I had been with Infosys for 7 years from the beginning) so that I could wait. Unfortunately, they said no to both. Despite there were opportunities in other projects for my tech they were not ready to release me.I definitely can't wait without knowing the time period. I had no other options than leaving to manage my financial crisis.

Luckily, I received a good offer from a product-based company. I only have 10 more days left on my notice period. I can transfer my visa to another employer as well.
