Fundamentally yes, but does GV wants to be India’s Reddit? I mean yes, could be. The app already shows similarities with Reddit’s structure. The way the communities are created but GV is inherently work centric and social later. So maybe a question for the GV team - how they want to balance this as they grow. Will they lean more into the professional side with some social features, or will they evolve into a broader social platform with work-related functionalities?

One of the problems with scaling is the inevitable flood of posts. Too many posts dilutes the quality of discussions, overwhelm users and will make it harder to maintain relevance around work related discussions.

No, I didn't mean in Reddit sense. It is the searchability that I wanted to highlight They have a great SEO game and need to capitalise on that. Obviously Reddit wins because they have the volume, which Grapevine should be able to get in couple of years

Downside of Reddit is unchecked responses more how Twitter is. Grapevine scores brownie points here, the people write cleaner and positive here
