This is the high time to stand up against these IT company and stay united as IT worker.
Otherwise we will loose everything working for these companies. No amount of salary is worth sacrificing your own health. If we all deny to work for more than 9 hrs (occasionally it is manageable like 1 or 2 days in a month) they cant fire us all. In next 3-4 years things will get worse especially for Bangalore. Its time to be united as IT worker and fight this. Know you rights and legality and then take action. Take help from lawyers but if we don’t they will win and this will be new normal. Look at the other countries work culture and then look at india’s. It needs revolution. I have many friends in different countries including east asian countries. They hate indian IT company due to the work culture.

Go On .. Take the "stand up against" infront of our gate..
Remember two things: 1- We are just a number.. 1000 ppl are waiting outside to replace us.. kids are doing AI projects in school which is beyond understanding of 80% of normal IT employees.
2- It's not fault of company.. Projects don't need 10 ppl anymore to do a task.. It can be taken care by 2 ppl with AI

Not true. Company using us the name of AI. If we are not united then next generation also will affect. We need to do some things for future generation. People not thinking in that way. Next generation means, including our child’s and our relative child’s also included know . Situation is very bad in IT industry. But still outside people already studied in computer engineering course and then next generation going to take that course . Still people are believeing this all IT company in India. So we need strong labor law in India.

Supply and demand. In india supply of engineers is more than demand.
While in other countries it's reverse.
This is the reason policies are not in favour of employees in Indian SBC.
As long as this remains, you will not see any improvement, no amount of protest etc will affect them. For them its business as long as business is running they don't care who you are , what you want.

There should be a union for us too....and strict labour laws? Their changes in policies is impacting lives in different ways

Ok tell how we get united
Whats the plan ?

If you have guts then post on linkedin I will support you for sure

This is natural. In 1990s the same things while internet came into the picture and now it's AI. The world is evolving with continuous change and it's cannot be stopped. We have to look into other ways to survive and it's not just for India.

Whats IT scenario in Bangalore?

How
