This day last year

It was 23rd November 2023, I just finished celebrating my B'day at 2am. Then sat down and asked myself what the fuck am I doing?

I wasn't working on growing myself, just doing leetcode everyday (you can say its useful but to me it seems useless).

After sometime I asked myself to start a timeline, make a yearly milestones and 4 quarterly milestones. Then every quarter just focuses on those things. I followed this religiously, while my friends thought I was crazy I knew what I was doing.

These are the things that I did:

• Contributed meaningfully to multiple open source projects
• Built and deployed my own open source projects
• Learned new tech (go, rust, solidjs, remixjs, deployment)
• Became a mentor at Manning Publications
• Started regularly posting updates on social media
• Became and wrote multiple articles on FreeCodeCamp
• Worked with many new contributors in our open source projects

These things might seem normal but the way I had degraded myself I asked myself to first get to a decent level and then we'll go from there.

Note: I'm sure I have wasted 3-4 months this year, so I know there's a lot to learn and fix.
