Third party Servicing plans for appliances in Flipkart/Amazon

Has anyone here ever taken 3rd part servicing and repair plans when purchasing gadgets in Flipkart/Amazon? Are they as good as they claim while covering for repair/damage?

I am planning to purchase an AC/Washing machine in upcoming sales this month end. Wanted to check whether should I go for these additional plans along with the appliance purchased.
