Trending @Cognizant; Thinking to switch but not sure

Hi guys... I'm working in Cognizant since 18 months now and I want to resign. I did speak to my TL about this as our project does not have a manager. He somehow asked me to stay till the appraisal which is August. I'm not sure if I should as cognizant is not gonna give a good raise is what I'm concerned about. Any insights please.

Upskill and start looking for the opportunities, if you get a good offer, then resign. Don’t wait for appraisals (it won’t be worth), you will just be loosing on time. Also don’t resign without an offer in hand. Job market is slow, it will be too risky.
