Thinking of switching from frontend developer to automation tester (SDET)

I worked for around 3.5 years as a frontend developer (React) but from the last 3 months doing UI automation ( cypress+ cucumber).

Is it good to switch from developer to automation tester.

I will learn other automation tools.

So much stress in development and anxiety Whenever I get a new feature, a project to work on I get too much anxiety. Currently working on automation I am enjoying it and feeling so much relaxed.

And also frontend developer role too much crowded now a days. Everyone is react developer from College. Is it good in future to switch line?
