Thinking of Resigning without an offer
I am going to complete 4 years of exp in this company in January. Haven't been able to switch due to many reasons, but now i have made up my mind. The problem is it's going to be a whole new domain for me. I am currently working as a Gsuite Workspace admin. Want to switch to devops/cloud/platform engineering toles. Have quite a few GCP professional certs, terraform cert etc. What i lack is a project. I plan on completing it by dec and then finding a job by end of notice period in march (90 days). I gave 2 interviews but they were looking for someone to join within 30 days. How do i go about showing fake exp for the new roles and what are some things i need to be careful about ?
Any advice/suggestions on how i can make this leap are welcome.

I resigned bro. I am learning devops now. My last was in sep and now preparing for devops interviews. Yes calls are very less but I quit becoz in TCS there is no growth. No problem if your family is not entirely dependent on you, you can good to resign

Ok bhai. Same in accenture, no growth at all. What's ur exp and how are you planning to learn/showcase it in your resume ?

4 years Exp. Right now I am learning devops and for me my resume is not getting shortlisted so I want to update and apply it. I am getti gs calls but they are not conducting an interview. I have to check how my future will be

I also did the same i put papar teecs i had around 7yrs and i was getting 4.7 lpa i felt useless that day i decided to drop paper and i dropped right away and sep 12 was my last working day without any offer on 13th i got selected in LTI with the package of 120% im glad i done that..Believe ur self and do it broo..Regarding career switch be strong in Fundamentals thats the key..so don’t doubt ur self….JUST DO IT…!!!!

I’m not sure if it’s genuine or just promotional, but I’ve been seeing a lot of posts about people getting hired after learning data engineering from trainers like Sumit Mittal, Devi Krishna, and Deepak Goyal. I took Deepak Goyal’s course myself, but it didn’t help me much. I think I wasn’t selected mainly because I lacked hands-on experience. It also feels like some people modify or exaggerate their experience to make it look more aligned with data engineering.

They modify/tweak, non data engineering experience**

If ur study plan is proper..u can crack any job in my opinion..and find better page for study like AZURELIB..
Guess what i will also be completing 4years in Accenture but if u find hard getting projects outside ,better to switch internally.i was in testing background but now i got screened to one of the projects and got data engineer role

Is internal switch that is easy in Accenture?

Can I pm you? I am in System administration and want to move to DA/DE roles. I hate my current role and work...

I am also thinking of doing the same. I have been in same org for 12 years (i know I am foolish to do) but now the work I am doing is very demanding with no perks no appreciation and work like anything is the situation here and I just can’t do that. I know I should have switched but there were multiple reasons and now I want to resign without any offer.

go for it mate

Bro I will highly recommend u to put the paper...last year I was with the same mindset and after that I resigned without any offer (had 60 days notice period )...and finally at the time of my last working day finally I joined with 300% of hike now I am paying tax more than my first salary . So just come out from ur comfort zone and believe in urself....

Out of curiosity, what's a Gsuite workspace admin? Like the admin of corp accounts?

Google Workspace admin to be precise. You're in Google so must've heard of it. Basically managing the user accounts in workspace which has like all google apps. Collaboration engineering is another name for what i do. Pretty good as a job role but not core CS. More of on the Admin side. I have had good exp but now want to switch to more dev/infra based roles. Also, current company pays me in peanuts.

Ohhh I didn't know that it involves tech work. I'm in the same team at Google, we develop better admin experience for these workspace customers
