They don’t make good advertisements anymore.

Brand people, Marketing and advertising people, what do you think the reason is ?

too many woke idiots in that sector. anything that the woke touches will be ruined And no company can make an advt that affects the sentiment of the woke/liberal crowd..

Bro non woke crowd ne Axe Deo ka ad banaya hai. Only good marketing campaign they did was BjP.

I think the issue is not related to political alignment of country, but of internal company politics

Which are the old great ads that you miss that would count as non-woke today?

Bit disappointing 🥲

The reason is senior management shooting ideas down 9/10 times. The ones that get through are still quickly forgotten mostly.

Too much content. It is making our creativity not go beyond, can do so much as follow trends

I mean look at Hutch, Zoozoo ads. Pepsi + Samosa. Tataksy old ads with Aamir Khan.

True, remember when Brand Equity used to be a full 4 page feature in ET a decade ago, was such a good way to know the difference what's an okay ad and a good ad. It's just doesn't seem that way anymore

Absolutely true. The Cred type ads, now dime a dozen, seem too cookie cutter as well, and will never be remembered for generations.
Most only aim to go viral on Twitter. So the bar is set really low now.

Cred launched some good campaigns. I feel it’s almost like DD1 Vs cable tv moment for advertising. With DD1, people used to like shitty shows but when plenty options came with cable tv, they lost the attention span and kept scrolling and not landing on value content.
