This tells that if you die no one cares in company , it is either employee or chairman, stop giving all efforts to company. do work in limit, give yourself personal space.

Our entire office has wfh today due to navratri and our hr and rmg mailed us at 11:25 am to report to the office at 11:30 am for two minutes of silence. It was like they didn't even want to mourn for him.

I understand your frustration. Sometimes, communication slips through the cracks. It's best to remind HR or management about the importance of empathy in such situations.
