There's so much of Toxicity on Grapewine...

I understand that people have issues and concerns. But since the day i have joined, i only see people cribbing about work environment, supervisors, co-workers etc etc..

Not a single person talking anything productive or about learnings/ knowledge sharing. And I see maximum junior folks spreading negativity.

Did anyone self introspect where they are lacking? Anyway, I don't think TCS is a bad company to work with. I agree they are not pay masters, still I feel it's the best one from a longevity perspective. Lot of learning and growth opportunities if you have the right mindset and attitude. Period!

Being a toxic manager you people won’t accept the fact😂, Get well soon. I can’t say TCS is bad , but associates in higher positions ( Delivery manager , Project Manager , Scrum Manager ) are really toxic and don’t now why TCS is encouraging these bugs in organisation.

I’ll say one example of TCS sick mindset. 10 yrs ago one associate posted a post in Knome , that is one matrimonial post which is not related to work. And now he become Project manager 🤣. TCS hire promotes and encourages toxic , immature associates.., as well won’t support and encourage freshers who hav very good skills

But qva cut does not make environment toxic. We don't agree with policy at large which is right

Mangers are not valuing the permorfant resources and most of the managers are driving their own way with just getting work done without thinking of work-life balance of others, some of them started to make our casual/flexi/sick leaves to be lapsed as they just care about billing and micromanage if they get involve in project. They manipulate performant ones only with multiple appreciations without monetary benefits, without understanding overburden they put on these resources. This is where it is destroying TATA brand. No promotion on time, always delaying it. No salary normalization, no incentives for involving in Technical panel (only gems of worth 80/100 if candidate is selected), hike % manipulation even with A band, some accounts deduct city allowance due to RTO, and inconsistent qva each quarter. More number of colleagues are experiencing it due to pathetic and bad management day by day as managers feel insecure in helping the performant ones in financial and career growth. They just compare their salary with others and not the skills and experience of the deserving ones.

Work life balance is best in tcs . I have spent very long time in tcs and worked in 7 different accounts and seen many other accounts yet to find a account where someone works more than 5-6 hours a day . Night shift etc are day but not the workload

Finally someone I found who have a positive mindset.

You see things the way you are... Everyone here is cribbing because that's all they have in life to do. Out of 6lakk tcser these might be only 6k who are active here.

Rest of the tcserdont crib because they have better things to do and understand value of organization and their work

'lot of learning and growth opportunities' 🤣🤣🤣. See I am a manager too.. but this!! What you said is too much 😝. TCS has deteriorated a lot in all aspects in the past few years, and that's a fact.

If everyone is being negative don’t you think there might be some truth to it. But since from your comments about finding life long friends, i believe you haven’t only worked in tcs your entire career. You won’t know how an actual work place should be because of the same reason.

This depends For me it's primarily the project
Secondary it's the team members

For the first 2 projects I was a manual tester but the pain of an unfullfing role was replaced by the warmth of a great team.

After 2 years I had acquired both
A full filling role (Sr. Data Engineer) and an excellent team (from Delivery Manager to my team mates)

Currently I am working as an AI Ops engineer but the team... Well... It's not really a team. If I approach my team lead with any problem he'll ask to go to someone else (full SBI Bank)

Every man in the 'team' is for himself.

Not to mention there's a huge gap of communication between management and workers

@PiercingFeather i agree with you it depends on a person how they started their carrier if some one having learning capabilities they will not blaim their failure to other person.I will suggest those persons having issue with tcs they can resign go other place.

But it's not a working culture being an employee of an organisation like TCS we need to focus on

1.Why projects are not delivered on time .
2.Why Technical analyst till the end of the project don't know the client requirements. 3.Why we did not encourage our junior for their IDEA which will help. 4.Why at any point of time Database structure are changed. 5.Why we ignore those Talents who actually know the work but we as managers suppose those who don't do anything

My dear friends don't blame anyone to try to spend at least 2 hours every day for new technology in your domain you will get success in your life .
