There should also be a wall of fame for candidates who ghost after accepting the offer and give stupid reasons

What is the percentage of people doing that? Most likely HR undersell the candidate too.

You'd be surprised. In tech that % is 50%. Business 25%

Actually a lot of HR behaviour also stems from having a bad experience in the past. However, there are bad HRs too.

Tbh, the best way is to have a Glassdoor for this. Only fair to have both sides exposed.

This is fucked up I’ve been there only once, but to be ghosted when you’re almost imagining being at that company hurts the most

My interview experience with Bajaj Finserve Health was interesting. Politely declined their offer and ran away as fast as I could. Didn’t even bother using their offer letter for a higher offer.

Were you sarcastic in your title or do you believe I was sarcastic in my comment? If latter, I wasn't.

Oh, that’s really strange. Never have seen Big Tech companies ghost. What happened?

GigglyCoconut

Well strange it was..

Passed screening, was given a decent amount of time and material to study , had 2 rounds and all of a sudden no updates . When I asked, they said the partner managing my candidature is no longer interested.

A similar thing also happened once on KPMG India as well. I think for KPMG it might have been COVID issues but not for Microsoft..

Glassdoor or Grapevine for Rentals

Had recently commented on a post about the landlord atrocities, specifically in BLR. I thought it is important to build a glassdoor or grapevine kind of community or product for the property owners.

HRs how do you feel after layoffs?

Although you become the face of layoffs and you have to abide by what's instructed, how do you personally feel after a event like mass layoff?

What steps do you take to avoid or minimise the impact in such cases?
