No need to ask leads for roll off. Default roll off should happen until manager and employee both confirm on some portal. If employee clicks Roll off. Then not even HR should be able to hold him. This gives freedom, better work culture. Does this setting exist or not?
This doesn't exist and it won't ever.
This is not a freebie this is a job, if you don't like it and not getting roll off leave and switch in the organisation which gives you such freedom.
Im not able to to understand if your arguing against my opinion or against system. If ur arguing against me i just want to add why give fake hopes that 18 month completion and employee can roll off? If you give this convenience then adhere it properly. If "its not freebie its a job" then dont have such policy for 18 month roll off opportunity biscuit. Im just reiterating what accenture offers. You cant get away with policies by saying "its not a freebie its a job". Did accenture not aware of "its not a freebie"?
Now its different thing if they have policy where this 18 month system stands null and void if project doesnt wants. Then again what is point of this 18 months system.
I wish we all lived in a world where corporate follows rules they created, they amend it as per their wish.
To answer your question, a corporate job is nothing but bandhua majduri, sorry for using such word but that's a harsh reality.
Now everyone including me have two options, do whatever is given or else leave nothing else can be done
If you have a profilecy of P4 + you become role off eligible after 6 months .
That means another project to lock you. So you need to find time when you are visible in roll off eligibility. Then approach project to lock you.
