The True Cost of Loyalty at TCS: A Cautionary Tale
Stayed loyal to TCS for 7 long years. Worked weekends, pulled all-nighters, always went the extra mile. And what did I get in return? Passed over for promotions, measly hikes, and a pat on the back. Meanwhile, my friends who job-hopped are earning double and enjoying better work-life balance. Lesson learned the hard way: loyalty means nothing at TCS. Look out for yourself first, because this company sure as hell won't.

Loyalty can be undervalued in some companies. It's crucial to weigh personal growth against loyalty. Sometimes, job-hopping offers better financial and career benefits. Always prioritize your own career goals.

Believe me even with promotion also can't match with package and other aspects with other organizations

I’ve spent around 7 years at TCS and recently submitted my resignation. Now, my manager is saying they will try to retain me and offer the promotion that has been pending for the last year. I’m unsure whether I should stay or move on.
